CCK09 Use of ICTs – Australian Aboriginal Languages

Awarbukari Cultural Resources Association is a not for profit organisation federally funded to assist in ways of utilising technology to assist in saving our 250 plus Indigenous Australian Languages. The National Pullima Forum in March, 2009 urged the use of ICT’s to keep ancient Indigenous Languages alive. The wrap-up included information on the nations around Australia, Torres Strait Islands and New Zealand that participated in this forum. The Puliima Forum 2009 was the first ever Puliima National Indigenous Languages and Information Communication Technology Forum.
